  • Samantha Taylor

    Global Communications Strategist

    Samantha is an experienced change, communication and organisation development professional with over 20 years experience in a range of commercial, public and not for profit businesses. Industry sectors include broadcasting, FMCG, energy, retail, publishing and urban development. Samantha is accustomed to working with businesses of varied scale, from ‘one man’ start ups, to some of the world’s largest and most complex organisations, including BP and Unilever.


    She has a strong track record of supporting organisations through major transitions and during times of uncertainty, as well as during day-to-day operation. Samantha regularly advises at Board / Vice President level to shape and implement strategies which actively support organisational aims. She also provides coaching and mentoring for senior leaders, as well as rising stars being fast tracked for development. Samantha has substantial experience in engaging and motivating diverse groups to deliver consistently outstanding results in challenging and constantly shifting environments. After leaving the BBC, where she led internal communication for a number of highly sensitive change programmes, Samantha focused on the challenges of the global marketplace. She is currently advising on a major change programme whose team members are spread across 30+ countries, supporting a key user base of 10,000 people worldwide.

  • Geoff Major

    Consultant: Customer Journey, process Design and Insight Analysis

    Geoff began his career as a Customer Service Advisor in a small 7-seat call centre in 1986 and came up through the ranks; rising to Customer Service Director running a 2000 FTE multi-site operation.

    Since leaving corporate employment he has problem-solved service-related challenges for over 14 different organisations, across several sectors including: financial services, distance shopping, and distribution.

    Through the implementation of core process improvement, team management and the implementation of technology, he has improved sales, efficiency and customer satisfaction; by looking at the company from a customer as well as a commercial perspective.

  • Jacqui Robinson

    Consultant: Strategic brand, marketing and communications

    With a career built over 20 years, Jacqui is an experienced marketing and communications strategist, from planning and development, to the implementation of successful brand, marketing, PR, media relations and internal communications strategies. She has a wealth of client-side experience in senior roles and understands how strategic vision translates into operational and tactical plans, aligned firmly to commercial objectives.

    Most recently in her role as Head of Marketing and Communications at the University of Sheffield, Jacqui led a team of 30, including marketing, insight, digital, media, PR, stakeholder and internal communications. She was responsible for developing and implementing successful new strategies to drive reputation, with a particular emphasis on driving digital transformation.

    Jacqui brings strong leadership skills and innovation and creative thinking to drive improvement.

  • Tracey Baker

    Consultant: Sport and Leisure in Higher Education

    With over 25 years’ experience in the leisure industry, in the public/private and educational Sector, Tracey has proven experience in creating and enhancing the service culture in a large organisation.

    She is skilled in building long term working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers. Tracey has worked with various national bodies like Customer First, Sport England and National Governing bodies. She has a diverse range of key skills and vast senior management experience.

    Tracey has managed a diverse group of staff, rebranded sport departments, developed successful membership systems from scratch, written and managed business plans and, most importantly, overseen the growth of an entire University Sport department for 14 years as Head of Sport, at The University of Sheffield – where her contribution consistently meant the department surpassed targets year on year.

    Highly educated and knowledgeable in her field, she is a dedicated, innovative and creative individual, with excellent communication skills and a passion for work.

  • Sean Rooney

    Public Sector Consultant: Highways and the Environment

    Experienced in a wide spectrum of Public Sector services including: Street Scene, Highways, Transport, Environment, Open Spaces and Public Realm.

    Sean has significant expertise in Highways and Transport, through holding a senior position in large Shire Authority and leading a Transportation service through a major change journey, delivering innovative public / private sector contracts. During his tenure, Sean led the service through many change programmes – delivering cashable savings and service improvements. 

    He is able to identify and develop robust performance management systems, ensuring value for money and the maximisation of commercial opportunities. 

    Unusually, Sean is able to bring together Public and Private Sector experience, obtained over a 25 year career in the private sector and more recently in Local Government. He specialises in contract management and development with a wide understanding of asset management in the highways sector.

  • Anne James

    Having worked at a senior level within the Public Sector – including managing Transport Strategy, Road Safety, Sustainable Travel, Public Transport, Parking and Traffic Management among others, Anne has led high performing teams to deliver challenging targets within strict financial constraints. 

    She has also worked within the commercial sector, delivering an integrated transport service that blends the commercial acumen of the private sector with the public sector service delivery, and has a strong commercial understanding of setting and managing budgets.

    Her experience includes undertaking major transformation and behavioural change projects to deliver service improvements and rationalisation, tendering the service delivery of Parking Enforcement and its contract management. As well as preparing successful major funding bids and overseeing major project delivery. She has used her strong Stakeholder management skills to support the inclusion of a wide variety of partners, achieving improved customer satisfaction.


  • Simon Frost

    Consultant: Sport and Leasure in Higher Education

    Simon has over 25 years in sports management, delivering award winning facilities and services.

    His early sports management career focused on developing participation. Having managed a leading sports programme within a Russell Group university, Simon was invited to present at a number of national and regional university sports conferences. Supporting increased levels of physical activity and student engagement was a key feature of Simon’s early work and these themes remain relevant today.

    Having managed one of the largest sports league competitions in the Higher Education sector, significant community programmes and commercial football leagues for over 20 years, Simon played a leading consultative role in the development of Rocca.s own SportPAD product – An affordable software solution for sports leagues, including team management and online payments.

    Following his successful period in sports programme management, Simon progressed to general sports and facility management where he attained a number of service delivery awards and outstanding audit returns from the likes of the Football Foundation and other governing bodies.
